La organización no comercial OverClocked ReMix ha publicado el día de hoy Super Mario RPG: Window to the Stars, un nuevo álbum gratuito (el número 61 para ser exactos) en donde hacen arreglos musicales a la singular música del clásico videojuego de RPG Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, producto de la colaboración entre Nintendo y Square en 1996 para la consola Super Nintendo. Window to the Stars contiene 34 pistas arregladas por 29 diferentes musicales (distribuidas en tres discos con una duración aproximada en conjunto de dos horas) que reinterpretan el soundtrack original del juego que fue compuesto por Yoko Shimomura, inspirada en los trabajos de Koji Kondo y Nobuo Uematsu.
Para los que no conocen el videojuego en cuestión, se trató del primer título de RPG en el que incursiona Mario y su universo, la gran mayoría de su desarrollo corrió por parte de Square guiados directamente por Shigeru Miyamoto (quien fue su productor). Debido a que fue bien recibido, lanzó franquicias de este género con las series de Paper Mario y Mario & Luigi.
