Nota Original (6 de junio 2016):
Square Enix ha anunciado Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, la remasterización en Alta Definición de la versión internacional de Final Fantasy XII (subtitulada International Zodiac Job System) que salió en Japón a principios del mes de agosto en el año 2007 para el PlayStation 2. La nueva versión HD se lanzará exclusivamente en el PlayStation 4 en algún punto del 2017, celebrando así su décimo aniversario.
Entre las cosas nuevas que se esperan, a parte de los gráficos mejorados, trofeos, tiempos de carga reducidos y guardado automático. Se incluirán los doblajes japonés e inglés que podremos cambiar a nuestro gusto mediante la configuración del juego. También podremos seleccionar si queremos escuchar la banda sonora original o la nueva re-grabada (que por cierto, nos aseguran que el audio podremos escucharlo en 7.1 canales).
Y hablando del soundtrack, el álbum original fue publicado hace 10 años (el 31 de mayo del 2006 en su país de origen). Cuenta con 4 discos y un total de 100 pistas que juntas duran casi cinco horas. Si gustan escucharlo lo podrán hacer desde el reproductor que se encuentra al final de la entrada, pero primero, chequen el tráiler de anuncio de la versión remasterizada que tiene subtítulos en español.
*Actualización (08/06/2017): Square Enix nos tiene el tráiler de historia en inglés de este remake que llegará al PlayStation 4 en América este 11 de julio. *Actualización 2 (22/07/2017): Hace unos días se lanzó el soundtrack del remake que quien guste escucharlo podrá hacerlo desde el reproductor que está bajo el tráiler de anuncio.
