Foo Fighters – Discografía (1995 – 2021)

El día de hoy, 15 de septiembre, la banda de rock estadounidense, Foo Fighters, lanzó a la venta su noveno álbum de estudio titulado Concrete and Gold. Para que sus seguidores lo celebren, más abajo les dejamos éste y los otros ocho discos anteriores para que los escuchen, pero primero, conozcamos algo de historia de esta agrupación.

Foo Fighters se formó en 1994 en Seattle, Washington, fundada por Dave Grohl como un proyecto de solista después de que se disolución de la famosa banda Nirvana debido a la muerte del músico Kurt Cobain. El primer álbum, titulado Foo Fighters, se publicó en 1995, recibiendo críticas positivas y logrando un éxito en las ventas. Durante su trayectoria, a la banda se agregaron otros músicos, como Nate Mendel, William Goldsmith y el guitarrista de las giras de Nirvana Pat Smear, y en cuanto a premios, han ganado cuatro galardones Grammy por el Mejor Álbum de Rock.

Los discos que le siguieron al primero son The Colour and the Shape (1997), There Is Nothing Left to Lose (1999), One by One (2002), In Your Honor (2005), Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (2007), Wasting Light (2011) y el anterior al nuevo, Sonic Highways (2014), el cual se realizó en conjunto con la miniserie documental de HBO Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways que Grohl escribió y dirigió.
