Hace prácticamente un mes se estrenó globalmente Godzilla Punto Singular (título original ゴジラ S.P ＜シンギュラポイント＞/ Gojira Shingyura Pointo, título en inglés Godzilla Singular Point), una serie anime producida entre los estudios Bones y Orange que fusiona animación hecha a mano con imágenes generadas por computadora.
Aprovechando que hace solo unos momentos se acaba de lanzar el soundtrack oficial de esta producción, vamos conociendo su trama para después ver su tráiler y escuchar la banda sonora.
La historia aquí ocurre en el año 2030 y se centra en dos personajes brillantes, el ingeniero Yun Arikawa (voz de Shōya Ishige) y la investigadora Mei Kamino (voz de Yume Miyamoto) quienes en un principio se encuentran indagando distintos sucesos extraños. El destino unirá a este par de desconocidos y los guiará hacia una batalla más allá de la imaginación que involucrará a todo el mundo.
Los dejamos con el avance, el Opening, Ending y el álbum musical. Éste último incluye 31 canciones compuestas y arregladas por Kan Sawada (allí se incluye la melodía “ALAPU UPALA” cantada por Annette Philip). En cuanto a las animaciones de apertura y fin, éstas son los temas “in case…” y “Aoi” interpretadas por las bandas BiSH y POLKADOT STINGRAY respectivamente.
