Nota Original (05/10/2017):
Hace unos minutos, Capcom al fin reveló que el tan esperado modo Arcade de Street Fighter V se lanzará oficialmente en la PC y el PlayStation 4 el 16 de enero del 2018 en una actualización que se llama apropiadamente Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.
Esta versión no solo incluirá el añorado modo de juego, sino también otras nuevas opciones, como que todos los personajes recibirán un segundo V-Trigger (una mecánica que se activa presionando los botones de golpe y patada fuerte al mismo tiempo) y también se agregan una Galería y un Extra Battle Mode. La actualización será completamente gratuita para todos aquellos que ya cuentan en su catalogo de videojuegos el título en cuestión.
Desde su lanzamiento el 16 de febrero del 2016, SFV recibió muchas críticas debido a que no contaba con el clásico modo arcade (incluso no tenía de historia), varios personajes y funciones. Quizá la mencionada actualización logre atraer a más jugadores.
En el siguiente reproductor podrán ver el tráiler oficial de Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. Bajo el avance les dejamos los dos soundtracks del juego que han sido publicados hasta el momento: el primero se lanzó el mismo día del estreno de SFV y el segundo acompañó a una de sus actualizaciones en donde se agregaba un modo con la historia general. Por cierto, hace un mes, el pasado 30 de agosto, la franquicia de Street Fighter cumplió 30 años.
(20/04/2022): El día de hoy se lanzó el último soundtrack oficial de este videojuego que cubre su quinta temporada. Mientras esperan Street Fighter 6, no se olviden de escuchar esta banda sonora más abajo en la entrada, en la sección de “Soundtracks”.
*(10/12/2017): Unos minutos después de finalizar el Capcom Cup 2017 se revelaron dos nuevos avances, uno es la animación cinemática de apertura de la Arcade Edition que revela los próximos personajes mientras que el otro fue el tráiler revelando gameplay de Sakura. Los pueden ver a continuación
*(17/01/2018): El día de ayer se lanzó al fin la Arcade Edition de este juego y para que no se nos olvide, Capcom ha publicado el tráiler de lanzamiento oficial que pueden ver en el siguiente reproductor.
*(16/02/2018): Para los que querían escuchar la banda sonora de la Arcade Edition de este juego de peleas, encontrarán un reproductor con este álbum musical de tres discos más abajo en esta entrada, después de los soundtracks anteriores.
*(16/12/2018): En la final del Capcom Cup 2018 se ha revelado un nuevo avance que revela a un nuevo peleador: Kage. Chéquenlo a continuación.
*(31/07/2019): Se ha filtrado un nuevo tráiler de este juego que revela a los siguientes tres personajes: Edmond Honda, Lucia y Poison (las dos últimas de la franquicia Final Fight). Véanlo a continuación.
* (17/11/2019): Capcom reveló un par de nuevos avances de este título, uno anunciando la Champion Edition, disponible en febrero del 2020, y otro mostrando al siguiente personaje que se añadirá a la lista de peleadores: Gill, el villano que conocimos por primera vez como el jefe final de Street Fighter III. *(15/12/2019): Al finalizar el Capcom Cup, se reveló el tráiler de un nuevo personaje que se agregará a este videojuego. Se trata de Seth, el villano principal de Street Fighter IV. Estará disponible el 14 de febrero del 2020, junto a la Champion Edition. Se los dejamos a continuación y bajo éste encontrarán un segundo avance de la mencionada próxima edición del juego.
